Look at the world through a blind person's eye
They see things much better than you and I
Just like us, they have their needs,
They can accomplish all kinds of deeds.

There aren't many limits to what they can do
They're really no different than me and you
They don't want to be stashed away on a shelf
Your limits are the ones you put on yourself.

The blind won't judge you by the color of your skin
They see beyond that to the person within
They can read and write and sing and dance
All they really want is to be given a chance.

They play the cards which they were dealt
The things they can do makes your heart just melt
They go beyond expectations to an all new height
They realize that vision is more than eyesight.
