Staring out my window, hoping to see
You coming here to visit me
Locked in this prison for the elderly
Days roll by like waves on the sea.

This can't be Saturday, because you're not here
Being left here, forgotten, is my greatest fear
Your visits are the reason to shout and cheer
My heart is filled with love my dear.

You said that you'd see me on Saturday
Did you get lost along the way?
I think of you each and every day
I love you more than I can say.

This can't be Saturday, where are you?
Sometimes i feel useless, like gum on a shoe
You're my reason for living, yes it's true
Visit me and show me you feel that way too.
