The holiday season is here once more
Who knows what it holds in store?
Whenever around the table you gather
This might be the last time you're all together.

Some could move many miles away
While some might not see another day
Precious is the time the Lord has given
Always make sure that you're forgiven.

Let's all use our common sense
Don't burn the bridge, let's mend the fence
Don't let a day pass while holding a grudge
Problems can be solved if both parties budge.

Compromise and find some middle ground
And you'll be more pleasant to be around
Enjoy the holidays, spread some cheer
To all you know, both far and near.
