Since you left to be with the angels on High
I've pondered the many reasons why
Now I know the only way to deal with this loss
Is to cling tightly to The Cross.

Jesus gave His life so that we could live
What greater gift could He give?
One day up there we'll meet once more
What a bountiful harvest He has in store.

Knowing where you are eases the pain
So I'll cling to the garment with the Crimson Stain
He will provide us all the answers we seek
He is strong whereas we are weak.

He knows the reason He summoned you there
So I'll hold everything up to Him in prayer
He will provide us with all we need
Because He is a loving God indeed.
