Let's all pause for a moment of silence
Remembering those who lost lives to violence
There's so much anger in the world today
Some start shooting if they don't get their way.

So many shootings at places where we labor
Whatever happened to "LOVE THY NEIGHBOR?"
We must all learn to manage our stress
So these attacks will happen less and less.

It's tragic that so many die this way
How an we stop them? What can we say?
How many times have you turned on the news
And seen the work of one with nothing to lose.

So many people leaving loved ones behind
When some fool lost what was left of his mind
To help bring violence to a welcome end
Love one another, make a friend.
