We need to pull together before it's too late
And not allow ourselves to be paralyzed by hate
Why forbid a friendship to begin
Because of a different color of skin?

Our differences help to make us strong
There's no reason why we can't get along
The world would be a boring place
If all of us had the exact same face.

There's so much we can learn from one another
If we can just learn to accept each other
It doesn't matter if we don't all think the same
There is one God from whom we all came.

There is nothing wrong with ethnic pride
A cause for which many have fought and died
Arm yourself with compassion, not with a gun
And this world will be a lot more fun.
