Do you realize what a difference you made?
We came to this Speech Class so afraid
With voices trembling and legs so weak
In front of everybody you asked us to speak.

Somehow we all made it through
The improvement we made we owe to you
I"ll always cherish this special time
You gave me an outlet for my gift of rhyme.

You knew that we all had something to say
And encouraged us every step of the way
You made us a part of something unique
We knew how to talk, you taught us to speak.

A group so different came together as one
You showed us that education can still be fun
We hate that this course has to end
Now we salute you, Mel Price, mentor & friend.
