Life ain't always a bowl of cherries
Along with the sweet come some bitter berries
One day you can be at the top of your game
Then you're down in a gutter, an object of shame.

Life can put you on a winning streak
But just as quickly you can fall off the peak
There will be times when you absolutely soar
Other times you can't get your foot in the door.

Life comes with the assurance of death
It's what you do between the first & last breath
Get in touch with God, make everything right
Because Heaven will be such a wonderful sight.

Life will have its ups and downs
You will see both smiles and frowns
Enjoy the good times and endure the bad
At times you'll be happy, at times you'll be sad.
