Forget all about good luck charms
Cling to the Lord's outstretched arms
Who needs a New Year's resolution??
Jesus Christ is the only solution.

He's there to fulfill your every need
My Lord, my God is a friend indeed
He's the One who can give you rest
So wonderful, so kind, He's the best.

Don't waste time wishing on a star
Jesus will accept you as you are
Patiently He waits to welcome you home
Come to the Lord; no longer roam.

Don't put your faith in your horoscope
Realize that Jesus is your only hope
Just receive His gift of Salvation
And thank the Lord for your emancipation.
