Jesus sits in Heaven, watching and waiting
Witnessing all of our sin, violence and hating
How much longer will He look the other way
Until He decides "The World Ends Today?"

Patiently He waits for each of us to change
And still we act so ungodly, so strange
Yet He waits for each of us to decide
Whether or not to accept why He lived and died.

If we don't change our sinful ways
Our time left here could be trimmed to just days
He cries in His prayers for us to repent
It's up to us to follow His hint.

Surely His patience must be wearing thin
Seeing transgressions repeated again and again
How much longer will He wait
Until He decides to padlock Heaven's Gate?
