If your heart is heavy and troubles abound
Turn to the One who is always around
He died for the liar, the cheater, the schemer
His name is Jesus, the Great Redeemer.

He is the One who answers your prayers
And takes away your troubles and cares
Whenever life throws you for a loss
Seek out the One who died on the Cross.

Jesus gave His life to set us free
He died for you, He died for me
If you've taken all that you can withstand
Just reach and grab His nail-scarred hand.

His death is a blanket that covers our sin
He perished that day but He lives again
He is the One, the Way, and the Light
Give your heart to Jesus and you'll be alright.
