As December ends don't fear the New Year
Celebrate, have fun, shout and cheer

Make the New Year better than the last
Go full steam ahead, don't dwell on the past
Only One knows when the end will come
Face it with a smile, don't be sad and glum.

Face the millennium with your head held high
Don't sit around and worry and cry
You can't let yourself be paralyzed by fright
Face each new challenge with all your might.

The dreaded day will come and go
Let time be your friend and not your foe
God watches over us , one and all
With Him on your side , you will not fall.
