Our Daddy was such a wonderful guy
The apple of his children's eye
He always gave us all he had
God, how we love our dear, sweet dad.

We learned so very much from you
And we always knew you loved us too
You spent your life worrying about others
Our Mama, me, my sisters and brothers.

You worked so many jobs to keep us fed
There was such wisdom in all you said
You could always make us smile
You made all our lives worthwhile.

Our hearts are filled with both grief and love
As you smile down on us from Heaven above
Until we once again see your handsome face
We know that you're happy in your new place.
