The problems hounding our youth today
Magnify when sex and drugs get in the way
Both of them seek to bring you down
And turn your smile into a frown.

Sex will be just as good if you wait
Be strong, peer pressure will be great
You don't want to raise a kid of your own
When you, yourself, are not full grown.

At first, drugs will pretend to be your friend
Until, on them, you start to depend
Drugs will rob you of your money, heart, & soul
And turn your life into an empty hole.

Don't let the one in the mirror become a stranger
Stay aware whenever you face danger
Although it will be difficult, just say no
And your pride and self-respect will grow.
