Dear God way up in Heaven above
Watch over Bear with Your sweet love
For whatever reason you called him home
On streets of gold he can now roam.

Bear wasn't just a dog, Bear was our friend
And we'll see him again when our lives end
Until the day You call us there
Please give him tender loving care.

Please make sure he gets plenty to drink & eat
Could he sit near The Throne at Your feet?
We love Bear more than words can say
Please give him lots of room to play.

Thank You for the time we shared
And remind him daily how much we cared
Though you're gone from us, we love you still
